Door Seals
Door seals prevent water, weather, dust, outside air, and noise from entering the truck’s cabin. Sealing the gaps between doors and frames improves the ride and protects the vehicle’s interior. Most door seals are made of extruded rubber, and Elasto Proxy keeps hundreds of profiles in stock. For truck doors with rounded corners, we cut bulb trim to size with our water jet equipment.
Window Gaskets
Window gaskets seal the gaps between truck windows and window frames. They have a specific cross-sectional size and dimensions. Stationary windows can use foam profiles, D-shapes, C-channels, U-channels, or glazing seals for window gaskets. In addition to water jet cutting, Elasto Proxy offers a choice of gasket bonding methods.
Rubber Flooring and Mats
Rubber mats are used for cabin flooring, but their cushioning and non-slip surface also makes them a good choice for storage compartments. Elasto Proxy can source rubber sheets in colors such as black, gray, and brown and then cut them to precise dimensions. Fender Flares
Fender flares fit over a truck’s wheel wells and provide protection against mud, water, and road debris. Whether it’s on-road or off-road, truck tires can kick-up small rocks that damage truck bodies. Truck Headliners
Headliners are installed on the ceilings of truck cabins to reduce noise, improve driver comfort, and increase visual appeal. They’re made of an acoustic foam that’s laminated to a perforated facing. Often, truck headliners have a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing for easy peel-and-stick installation.
Heat Shields
In trucks with internal combustion engines, heat shields keep heat and noise from the engine bay from reaching the cabin. Typically, these truck parts are installed on the firewall. Engine bay insulation can have a top layer that reflects radiant heat, a middle layer that blocks or absorbs loud engine sounds, and a bottom layer that uses PSA tape for temporary or permanent fastening.
Vibration Mounts
Vibration mounts are rubber-to-metal bonded assemblies that protect trucks from vibrations that can cause mechanical wear and affect human health and safety. These truck parts are installed under the engine and in other locations where vibrations could cause structure-borne noise, typically from metal members.
Formed Hoses
Formed hoses are used with truck fuel lines, coolant lines, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems. They’re produced by vulcanizing hollow rubber extrusions so that they obtain a specific shape, such as straight lengths with angled bends and flare ends.
