Elasto Proxy distributes rubber extrusions, but we’re also a one-stop shop for all of the rubber products that you need. Yes, we ship coils of rubber from our warehouses in Canada, the United States, and Europe. But we also cut lengths of rubber and bond them into finished gaskets. That’s not all either. Elasto Proxy supplies molded rubber parts such as grommets and silicone hose connectors. We can also provide you with over-molded parts and rubber-to-metal bonded assemblies like vibration mounts.

Molded and extruded rubber aren’t all we do either. If you need protection against heat and sound, ask us how we cut foams and laminate them into sandwich-style structures for thermal and acoustic insulation. If you need plastic products instead, find out how Elasto Proxy can source, distribute, and fabricate plastic extrusions made from commodity or engineering materials. With the strength of our sourcing and logistics, we can even supply you with molded plastic parts for hospital beds.

Rubber Extrusions and Custom Fabrication

Elasto Proxy is more than a distributor of rubber extrusions. We can supply the extruded rubber that you need, but we can also custom-fabricate your seals, gaskets, and insulation. Cutting your own gaskets may seem cost-effective, but are you accounting for manufacturing waste? What is the cost of rework, and how much time are higher-paid employees spending on labor-intensive tasks that don’t require their skill levels? For that matter, is the way you’re currently bonding gaskets really the best choice?

Water Jet Cutting

Elasto Proxy uses water jet equipment to create prototype parts and low-to-medium production volumes. With water jet cutting, there no tooling to pay for or wait for. Just sent us your CAD file and we’ll transmit your digital drawing to our state-of-the-art machines. Water jet cutting supports design changes and quick-turn prototyping, but it’s also great for seals, gaskets, and insulation that require fast cuts with tight tolerances. Water jet cut cutting is great for corners and notching, too.

Bonded Gaskets

Elasto Proxy’s custom fabrication capabilities include your choice of joining techniques for bonded gaskets. Hot splicing and vulcanizing are methods that use heat, pressure, and a film splice or uncured rubber to join the ends of profiles. Cold bonding joins lengths of cut materials without the use of heat. Molding is more expensive, but it’s the only way to create radiused corners. When you work with Elasto Proxy, we can help you to make the right choice.

Cut Lengths

Elasto Proxy doesn’t just supply coils of rubber for you to cut in-house. We also supply cut lengths that meet tolerances from the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA). If you try to cut coils yourself, you may stretch the rubber beyond these limits. Molded and extruded rubber can shrink or rip, too. With bulb trim seals, for example, cutting and installation can challenge even experienced assemblers. By contrast, cut lengths from Elasto Proxy can fit part features like door hinges.

Parts Marking and Kitting

Elasto Proxy can also group your parts into kits and mark individual components with identifying features. Thanks to inkjet printing and UV drying, our parts marking system produces letters and numbers that are crisp, clean, and easy-to-read. By packaging everything your installers need into a single box, you’ll save time and money on your assembly line. Instead of looking for 10 or 20 different SKUs in a warehouse, an installer can just open the box and get to work.

Elasto Proxy also provides warehousing services that save you time and money. When you buy from us, you can leverage our volume discounts and avoid tying-up cash and losing floor space to excess inventory. You can also order all of the rubber parts that you need from a single supplier so that you have fewer vendors to manage, fewer purchase orders to issue, and fewer shipments to pay for.

More Than Just Rubber Extrusions

Are you looking for ways to consolidate your vendor list? Would you rather work more with one trusted supplier instead of poring over countless vendor scorecards? You can source the rubber extrusions that you need from Elasto Proxy and also get everything from custom silicone connectors and vibration mounts to finished gaskets for doors and windows.
