With water jet cutting, there’s no tooling to wait for or pay for. Our computer-controlled cutting technique is also highly precise. At our headquarters near Montreal, one of our water jet machines can make cuts as small as 1/2” x 1/2” and with holes that have diameters as small as 0.01” (0.254 mm). Yet we can also make precision cuts across larger surfaces for bigger custom floormats.

This durable but lightweight material helps insulate the cabin, especially with thicker rubber. We can also laminate thermal or acoustic materials to rubber sheets for even greater protection against heat and noise.
For example, Elasto Proxy can provide you with rubber floor mats that use mass loaded vinyl (MLV), a powerful sound blocker. We can also fabricate custom floormats that use a closed cell foam (CCF) for decoupling, a form of sound reduction that separates two materials. Inside the cabin, a layer of CCF between a metal subfloor and rubber sheeting helps reduce the transmission of vibrations.
Operators won’t see these acoustically insulating materials, but they’ll like the quieter ride. They’ll also appreciate how custom rubber floormats can have a marbled finish for slip-resistance or recessed features that catch snow and mud. Because Elasto Proxy’s products are precision cut, there won’t be a path for water or sound waves to come through.
