EC28-201-EM is a bulb trim, or trim seal, with applications that include the sealing of doors, hatches, and enclosures with rounded corners. The industrial rubber product is made of EPDM, an elastomer that resists the sunlight and moisture associated with outdoor environments. The bulb and retainer sections have a different durometer, or hardness. The trim is solid rubber for impact resistance and the bulb is sponge rubber to support compression.

Bending Radius & Additional Information

EC28-201-EM is a bulb trim seal from Elasto Proxy that is made of cellular EPDM rubber. The minimum bending radius is 35 mm from several angles. The solid rubber trim section is to the left of the bulb, which is made of EPDM sponge rubber. The retainer is 14 mm tall and the distance between the legs of the trim is 4 mm. The tolerance for this industrial rubber product is RMA-E2. It is sold in coils and fabricated into gaskets.
