EC28-415-EM is a dual durometer bulb trim with a solid rubber retain section on the left and a sponge rubber bulb on the right. The bulb is irregularly shaped and contains two cavities and a lip. The height of the bulb section is 10 mm, and the distance from the edge of the bulb to the middle of the trim is 20.5 mm. EC28-415-EM is black in color and made of EPDM, a cost-effective elastomer that provides good environmental resistance.

Bending Radius & Additional Information

EC28-415-EM is an EPDM co-extrusion with two different durometers, or hardness, on the Shore A scale. The solid rubber trim section contains a metal wire or clip for added impact resistance and has internal tongues for gripping. The trim or retainer section of this dual durometer seal is 12 mm tall from the base of the feet to the highest point within the cavity. EPDM rubber bulb trim resists water and sunlight.
