EC28-240-EM is an EPDM trim seal with a top bulb. The bulb is teardrop-shaped and has an upper lip that extends to the top-right of the seal. Trim seals like this are used for sealing doors and hatches with rounded corners, such as with enclosures, heavy equipment, and generator sets. EC28-240-EM is black in color and is co-extruded so that the bulb and trim sections each have a different hardness.

Bending Radius & Additional Information

EC28-240-EM is black EPDM bulb trim seal that is co-extruded to RMA-E2 tolerance. The bulb is made of sponge rubber and the trim is made of solid rubber. The distance from the bottom of the trim to the top of the bulb’s lip is 32mm. The width of the bulb section is 16mm. The trim, or retainer, section of EC28-240-EM is metal-reinforced for impact resistance and has interior tongues for added gripping.
