EC28-212-EM is an EPDM trim seal that is used for sealing and insulating doors or hatches with radiused corners. The compressible sponge rubber bulb on the right side of the seal and it has a smaller lip and a larger lip. The solid rubber trim is on the left side of the seal and has interior tongues for gripping and a metal reinforcement for impact resistance. This medium durometer trim seal is black in color.

Bending Radius & Additional Information

EC28-212-EM is co-extruded from EPDM, a rubber that resists outdoor environments. The bulb section is 18 mm tall and measures approximately 19mm from the edge of the lip to the mid-point of the retainer. The trim section is 17.5 mm tall. The thickness of the sponge rubber bulb ranges from 3 mm on the bottom of the bulb to 2.5 mm on the side of the bulb and in-between the two lips.
