EC28-210-EM is a bulb trim for doors or hatches with rounded corners. This trim seal is made of EPDM rubber and co-extruded with bulb and retainer sections. The bulb fills the gap between the door or hatch and the jam or casing. It compresses to form a reliable seal, but then returns to its original dimensions when the compressive force is removed. The trim has tongues for gripping and is reinforced with a metal retainer.

Bending Radius & Additional Information

EC28-210-EM an EPDM trim seal that is co-extruded from dual durometer rubber. The sponge rubber bulb has a lip and is 16 mm tall. The distance from the end of the lip to the mid-point of the trim is 22.5mm. The trim section is 17mm tall and includes a metal retainer for impact resistance. Integral tongues within the retainer section provide gripping for reliable attachment. Applications include enclosure sealing and the heavy equipment industry.
