En suivant cette formule de conception de joints vous pouvez obtenir les extrusions de caoutchouc et les joints de conception appropri\u00e9s pour combler les \u00e9carts, r\u00e9sister \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement et pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences techniques et commerciales.<\/p><h2><strong>S\u00e9lection des compos\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2><p>La s\u00e9lection des compos\u00e9s, i.e. la premi\u00e8re partie de ce guide de conception des joints, consiste \u00e0 poser et \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 trois questions principales:<\/p><ul><li>Quels mat\u00e9riaux peuvent r\u00e9sister \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement ?<\/li><li>Quels sont leurs avantages et inconv\u00e9nients ?<\/li><li>Quels sont leurs co\u00fbts mat\u00e9riels ?<\/li><\/ul><p>Pour d\u00e9terminer quels mat\u00e9riaux peuvent r\u00e9sister \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement il faut prendre en compte le produit, la temp\u00e9rature, l&rsquo;application et la pression. Le tableau ci-dessous contient des questions sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 poser concernant votre application.<\/p><table><tbody><tr><td width=\"180\"><p><strong>M<\/strong><strong>\u00e9<\/strong><strong>dia <\/strong><\/p><\/td><td width=\"444\"><p>Y a-t-il une exposition \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau douce, \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau sal\u00e9e, aux carburants, aux huiles ou aux produits chimiques ? Cette exposition, est-elle accidentelle ou \u00e0 long terme ?<\/p><\/td><\/tr><tr><td width=\"180\"><p><strong>Temp\u00e9rature <\/strong><\/p><\/td><td width=\"444\"><p>Quelles sont les temp\u00e9ratures minimales et maximales de service ?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Le vieillissement thermique ou les cycles thermiques, sont-ils des facteurs potentiels de risque ?<\/p><\/td><\/tr><tr><td width=\"180\"><p><strong>Application <\/strong><\/p><\/td><td width=\"444\"><p>Quel est le type de bride, le mat\u00e9riau de la bride et le mod\u00e8le de trou de boulon ? Le joint en caoutchouc, sera-t-il plut\u00f4t install\u00e9 ou appliqu\u00e9 avec du ruban PSA ?<\/p><\/td><\/tr><tr><td width=\"180\"><p><strong>Pression <\/strong><\/p><\/td><td width=\"444\"><p>L&rsquo;application d&rsquo;\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 implique-t-elle des pressions \u00e9lev\u00e9es ou basses ? Comment le niveau de pression pourrait-il affecter la compression du joint ?<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p>Lorsque vous comparez des compos\u00e9s il faut tenir compte de leurs avantages et inconv\u00e9nients, ainsi que de leur co\u00fbt en mat\u00e9riel. Par exemple, les EPDM et les TPE peuvent r\u00e9sister aux environnements ext\u00e9rieurs. Le caoutchouc EPDM co\u00fbte moins cher, mais les TPE sont disponibles avec des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elastoproxy.com\/rubber-part-tolerances\/\">tol\u00e9rances plus strictes<\/a>. Les TPE sont aussi disponibles dans des couleurs personnalis\u00e9es et elles sont recyclables.<\/p><p>Vous devrez peut-\u00eatre aussi comparer des compos\u00e9s commerciaux \u00e0 des compos\u00e9s sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s tels que des mat\u00e9riaux approuv\u00e9s par UL. Les compos\u00e9s sp\u00e9ciaux ont des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s extraordinaires mais ils sont plus chers. Ils ont \u00e9galement des quantit\u00e9s minimales de commande (MOQ) plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p><h2><strong>Duret\u00e9 (Durom\u00e8tre)<\/strong><\/h2><p>Les compos\u00e9s de caoutchouc sont disponibles dans une gamme de duret\u00e9s, une mesure de la duret\u00e9 exprim\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle Shore A. En fonction de votre application d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 vous aurez peut-\u00eatre besoin d\u2019un caoutchouc de duret\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieure, souple comme une gomme \u00e0 effacer pour crayon, ou d\u2019une duret\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure qui ressemble \u00e0 une rondelle de hockey.<\/p><p>Gardez \u00e0 l&rsquo;esprit ce qui suit sur le caoutchouc plus dur et plus mou:<\/p><ul><li>Le caoutchouc plus dur offre une plus grande r\u00e9sistance aux chocs mais il est moins \u00e9lastique.<\/li><li>Le caoutchouc plus doux procure un meilleur amorti mais il est plus sujet \u00e0 la compression.<\/li><\/ul><p>Le jeu de compression est la d\u00e9formation permanente d&rsquo;un mat\u00e9riau lorsqu&rsquo;une force appliqu\u00e9e est supprim\u00e9e. Un joint en caoutchouc sur-comprim\u00e9 ne fournira pas une \u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 correcte, mais un joint trop dur peut \u00e9galement provoquer une d\u00e9faillance de l\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9. Prenons l\u2019exemple d\u2019une porte qui ne s\u2019est pas ferm\u00e9e parce que le sceau en caoutchouc est trop difficile \u00e0 comprimer. Pour \u00e9viter de tels probl\u00e8mes suivez les recommandations concernant le durom\u00e8tre pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans ce guide de conception de joints.<\/p><p>Lors de la s\u00e9lection du durom\u00e8tre il est possible que vous compariez des mat\u00e9riaux en \u00e9ponge ou solides. Le caoutchouc solide est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus dur, mais ce n\u2019est pas toujours le cas. Le caoutchouc spongieux se distingue par une structure cellulaire qui permet (cellules ouvertes) ou emp\u00eache (cellules ferm\u00e9es) le passage de l&rsquo;air, de l&rsquo;eau et des gaz.<\/p><h2><strong>Profil\u00e9s en caoutchouc<\/strong><\/h2><p>Les profil\u00e9s en caoutchouc pour les joints se pr\u00e9sentent sous diff\u00e9rentes formes. Les types les plus courants sont les joints D, P, E et les joints \u00e0 l\u00e8vre. Le bourrelet ou la l\u00e8vre comble l\u2019\u00e9cart, mais la s\u00e9lection du profil\u00e9 d\u00e9pend aussi de la quantit\u00e9 de compression et de la m\u00e9thode d&rsquo;installation ou de fixation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Les joints D <\/strong>ont un bourrelet en forme de demi-lune qui assure l\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 sous pression et une section droite plate qui se fixe \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un adh\u00e9sif tel que du ruban PSA.<\/li><li><strong>Les joints P <\/strong>ont un bourrelet arrondi et une tige plate. Le bourrelet assure l&rsquo;\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 sous compression. La tige ou la queue est utilis\u00e9e pour attacher le joint avec des attaches m\u00e9caniques.<\/li><li><strong>Les joints d&rsquo;\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 \u00e9lectroniques <\/strong>ont un bourrelet en forme de demi-lune supportant la compression, une queue reposant sur un substrat et un espace ou une fente dans laquelle un installateur ins\u00e8re du mat\u00e9riau en barre m\u00e9tallique.<\/li><li><strong>Les joints \u00e0 l\u00e8vre <\/strong>ont un bord ou une l\u00e8vre \u00e9tendue au lieu d\u2019un bourrelet arrondi. Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres types de profil\u00e9s, ils n\u2019ont pas besoin de compression compl\u00e8te pour assurer une \u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 efficace.<\/li><\/ul><h2><strong>Autres conseils de conception de joints<\/strong><\/h2><p>La conception des joints commence par la composition, la duret\u00e9 et la s\u00e9lection du profil\u00e9.
