Elasto Proxy to Attend “Accessing the Brazil Market”
Elasto Proxy will attend Accessing the Brazil Market, an expert-led event sponsored by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and part of the World Trade Centre’s (WTC) Exporting Quebec initiative. Megan Beaulieu, Elasto Proxy Executive Support Specialist, will attend this informative half-day event at Le Centre Sheraton on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. As a participant in the SME Passport Program, Elasto Proxy plans to reach new markets in Brazil, where company co-owners Doug and Donna Sharpe recently attended a trade mission.
Brazil boasts the world’s sixth largest economy and is Canada’s ninth largest trading partner. With an anticipated GDP growth rate of 4.1% in 2013, Brazil imports $2.8-billion (CDN) worth of Canadian goods and also offers access to Mercosur, an economic bloc of five South American nations. Participants in the Board of Trade’s “Accessing the Brazil Market” event will hear from Quebec-based businesses that are already operating there and benefitting from exports to this large and fast-growing economy.
Elasto Proxy is excited about working with Brazilian businesses and looking forward to applying lessons learned from the SME Passport Program. As a provider of high-quality sealing solutions that strengthen supply chains, Elasto Proxy is ready to design and custom fabricate rubber and plastic components for the burgeoning Brazilian market.
